Oh, Jeff Goldblum. You can do creepy better than almost anyone not named "Willem Dafoe".
Gonna dedicate this Community Showcase to Linksys, which apparently thinks it's alright to ship out routers that need to be flashed with firmware before you can even use them. Way to make sure I'll never use one of your products again, guys!
User Reviews:
- Both nofx4208, spencerboltz, and JackLumber really liked The Social Network. spencerboltz advises us not to go to Case 39. spencerboltz and DaveP are all generally positive on Let Me In; ScanCase takes a somewhat harsher view of it.
- Moviefreak also checks out this week's big Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Blu-Ray release.
- spencerboltz also takes a look at Planet Of The Apes.
- nofx4208 also took mini-looks at Easy A, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, and The Town.
- DaveP also liked Super, which I'm still skeptical on. But we'll see! He also checked out Monsters, which I am looking forward to, as did Olivaw.
- HandsomeDead would like some feedback on his reviews for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire. Why don't you check them out and send him a PM?
Wiki Edits
- RainbowReelCinema really likes a movie called Tombs Of The Blind Dead.
- Gort, do you like gladiator movies? Well, if not, you sure do like Viking movies like The Long Ships.
- Tell the feds, tell your girl, tell your mother; conference call your wack crew and tell each other about FrozenPeas' work on the Mos Def page.
- Pickle's been busting out on Pulp Fiction like no one's business. I think that is the longest single quote to appear on a movie homepage on the entire site.
TV Wiki Edits
- Ok, Christina, we know you like Glee! You're coming up on 3,000 points! That's crazy talk! But pretty awesome.
- Joe shows us an example of a great television episode writeup with his overview of Season 3, Episode 1 of Merlin. Another great episode writeup is zombiesatemycereal's look at Community's episode called Modern Warfare.
- TheSacredTurf has added a bunch of trivia from the show Quite Interesting to its trivia page. Check it out!
- Fuzzy510 lets us know who the Top Chef really is.
Forum Posts
- Daemon's writeup on a Sumo tournament is well worth reading.
- I made a post about getting to 10,000 followers and am asking you guys for your opinions on site direction! Read the comments and post your own!
- Joe's post on editing the Wiki is still useful if you want to dive into the Wiki but don't know where to stat!
User lists
- nofx4208 has a few good lists: movies he's going to show his kids when they're 5-7, movies for the 13+ crowd, and his Top 25 for 2009.
Hey, I Did Good Stuff Too!
Want to get your content featured in the future? Well, first off, make sure it's top-notch. If you're making a user review or editing the wiki, be sure to use the image tools to throw in some pictures or videos or bullet points and spice it up a bit! Ensure that it's all well-written (maybe have another user edit it for you?) and free of misspellings. If you want to submit something for next week's list, you can do so via this thread in our Editing and Tools forum! I am virile and my stamina is unmatched, and yet the site is a bit too big for me to find all the cool content that you guys rock out every week. But if you post in that thread, it'll be a lot easier for me to make sure that I have your nominations all in a line. As always, a big shoutout to Skidd for helping to compile a good chunk of the links above, as well as to everyone else who posted stuff in that thread.
Alternately, feel free to email me at rorie@screened.com and be sure that the word "USER" is in your subject line so the email is filtered properly. It's especially welcome if you want to nominate awesome content from another user, so please do nominate away! (And if you ever send me something and it's not featured in the community showcase, send me another email - we get tons of email, so things do unfortunately slip through the cracks here and there.)

Must say I don't want to criticize because you all are making a great job, and I like Rories writing but it makes me hyperventilate and panic of how I just can't wrap my head around what makes the film worth the rating. I guess this a matter of what opinion on what a star means in the rating and what not.. but I just needed to ventilate it.
Anyways great work as always both from the community and Rorie for compiling this list.
@Christina: The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. ;)
