Team Edward? Team Jacob? Team Creepy Jacob and the Baby? No! Team, Twilight is Finally Over! With the DVD release of the second chapter of the last book in the Twilight series, there is no more creepy teen vampire love that will be hitting our movie screens. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean we are rid of Kristen Stewart and she will likely show up here and there and play with her nose and look like she is high on cocaine due to the mass amount of fidgeting she does. Also, I hate to admit that I have a secret crush on Rpattz and I hope he finds role that truly shows off his talents (if he has them) but is not Cosmopolis.
In other big news, The Master is released on DVD and I am still trying to figure out how there is a P.T. Anderson movie that has been released and I haven't seen it yet. He is one of my favorite directors and this is shooting to the top of my list of to watch.
DVD/Blu-Ray February 26th
1. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2
It swept the razzies this year and if that doesn't tell you enough, I don't know what does. Vampires!
2. The Master
3. Chasing Mavericks
Gerard Butler and surfing…those two things go together, right? The movie tells the true life story of suring phenom Jay Moriarty discovers one of the biggest surf breaks on Earth is right by his hometown. He enlists the help of legend Frosty Hesson (Butler) to train him and keep him from, you know, dying.
4. This Is Not a Film
This is a an Iranian documentary that a major portion of it was shot an iPhone. It follows the day-to-day life of an acclaimed director during his house arrest and court appeal. IT has a 99% on rottentomatoes and sounds fascinating.
5. Holy Motors
What is likely one of the weirdest movies of 2012, there are many that also put it on their best lists of the year. Crank up the strange and watch the Holy Motors.
