I am all wack-jammed up with the migraine that has infested my brain (yes, still) so as sometimes I do, I apologize for the day old DVD/Blu-Ray update. Especially when there are so many notable releases this week. Oh, wait, did I say sooo many? I lied. There is just one and one you should watch right now. Flight. I explained on my Pupcast article yesterday that I didn't watch it before I did either of my lists and am very upset that I didn't have it on there. It is an incredibly fantastic film, that should have received much more attention than it actually did. Please note: when it comes down to it, expect the story of a drunk alcoholic that can't get his life together and not a heroic story likened to that of Sully.
Oh and otherwise it's the week for releasing mediocre movies and things starring Tyler Perry.
DVD/Blu-Ray: February 6th
| 1. Flight Denzel is as Denzel does and it is a fantastic film to watch. | |
| 2. Alex Cross Does anyone remember when the latest Alex Cross moving starring Tyler Perry was released in theaters? Yeah, me either. Along with most of America that didn't really see it either. However, in case you just happened to be waiting for the DVD, well, then now is your chance. | |
| 3. Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection Hey, guess what guys, Madea got a job! | |
| 4. Here Comes the Boom Here comes the (Kevin James Fighter) Boom goes the dynamite. | |
| 5. Celeste and Jesse Forever I have always been very curious about this movie, yet never enough to actually watch it. I feel like that was a mistake. I've made a huge mistake. Alright, alright, I'll go watch it now. Leave me alone already! | |
| 6. So Undercover Miley Cyrus as an undercover cop with a 7% rating on rotten tomatoes. You do the math. | |
| 7. Paranormal Activity 4 I stopped being able to talk about this series after Paranormal Activity 3. | |
| 8. House of Cards Netflix released it's Kevin Spacey/David Fincher version of House of Cards last Friday. If you have an interest in the series it was based upon, watch it now. |

I went to the Video store area in Ray's Food Place today, and I didn't see any copies of Flight or Here Comes the Boom, both of which are movies I really want to see.
Instead, I rented Hotel Transylvania, Seven Psychopaths, and Alex Cross. That last one, had just been returned recently, and I picked it up immediately. I like Tyler Perry, and so I'm hoping the movie will be at least decent.
FLIGHT is awesome. ALEX CROSS is not.
