I'm still not sure how I feel about The Legend of Korra. I enjoyed the new show and liked the connections to the past that they alluded to were definitely intriguing. They did feel kind of like a cheap out however. I was really hoping for a complete separation from the previous series and when they started to connect more and more I wanted them to dive in. Instead it stayed somewhat on the fringes of the story. Maybe the next season will further those connections along.
1. The Legend of Korra
The sequel to the original Avatar picks up years after the original show ended. Now the new Avatar, Korra, must deal with anti-bending terrorists who have charged themselves with removing the powers of those who can bend. While not as awesome as the original it was still a fun show to watch.
2. Spring Breakers
Why pick this up when they're planning on the remix? That's right they want to re-edit, re-do, and remix this movie as if that will make it do better. I guess someone didn't realize the only people who this just wanted to see Disney actresses in bikinis.
A recent romantic comedy that didn't do so well at the box office. Really you should wait until this pops up onto a streaming service before spending money on it.
4. The Jerk
A comedy classic that put Steve Martin on the movie actor map. While he already was known as a hilarious comedian it wasn't until The Jerk that his abilities were really on display.
