Not exactly the biggest releases but at least this week has something coming for Halloween. The Internship may just have been one of the scariest movies of the year. Alright you should really just get The Conjuring and just wait to see everything else.
1. The Conjuring
Just in time for Halloween this surprise hit from the summer now comes home. Based on a true story two paranormal investigators help a family figure out what exactly is happening in their home. With only a budget of $20 million this movie made over $150 million this summer proving again low budget films can succeed even during the summer.
2. The Internship
After being laid off Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn must take internships at Google. This one didn't do so well at the box office coming in with a budget just under $60 and only making about $45 million. Some people have come away enjoying this film but most seem to think this is one big cliche for Wilson and Vaughn trying so hard to rekindle their old ability to make good movies.
3. Only God Forgives
Some called this Drive but in Thailand and you can't really deny that. With the same director and starring Ryan Gosling this was one film a lot of people were excited about but seemed to fade out after release.
