This week’s new releases definitely have a leg up on what we got last week. Sadly, Mongolian Death Worm won’t be making a repeat appearance. But, maybe newcomer Sex, Lies, and Death can find a special spot in your DVD collection?
The biggest release is probably The Green Hornet. If you remember, it got pushed back nearly seven months in order to convert it to 3D. And because of that you’ll be able to own it on Blu-Ray 3D! That is, if you’ve ponied up for a 3D TV already. Also coming into stores is the Vince Vaughn/Kevin James comedy The Dilemma. I’m sure everyone involved with this one is hoping it does big numbers on home video, because its take at the box office was pretty lackluster, given its ridiculously high budget.
Some TV that might catch your fancy includes Boy Meets World: Season 5 and According to Jim: Season 3. Especially if you were vibing on Topanga back in the day.

 | The Dilemma I know this one wasn't received all that well, but I'll probably end up checking it out, just because I've got a soft spot for Chicago since I grew up there. Considering all the talent involved with this one (Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Vince Vaughn, Kevin James) it's pretty crazy it did so poorly. |
 | Boy Meets World: Season 5 Talk about a blast from the past. I remember watching episodes on ABC when I was growing up. William Daniels will always be Mr. Feeny to me. |
 | Mao's Last Dancer I was going to see this one when it came out, but something happened... which seems to be a recurring theme on this list. Anyway, this one's a biopic about a ballet dancer from China who was taken from home as a child to perfect his craft. He ends up falling in love with an American woman during a cultural exchange. It's also an Australian film... go figure. |
 | My Own Love Song For a film I didn't know about until today, this one has a pretty impressive group attached to it. Renée Zellweger and Forest Whitaker star in this flick about a wheelchair bound singer (Zellweger) and her best friend (Whitaker) bonding over a road trip. Oliver Dahan, of La Vie En Rose fame, wrote and directed. Then again, that poster... dear god that poster... |
 | Ben 10: Ultimate Alien "Power Struggle" The popular cartoon series gets a DVD movie. That's all I got. |
 | Being Human: Season 3 I've caught some of the first season and, for the most part, I enjoyed what I saw. BBC shows are usually a pretty safe bet... usually. |

Can't forget about Jim Belushi, even if you might want to. I'll never forget ABC's ballsy move in putting this up against Frasier. I think we all know who won that battle.
And I'd like another Pirates porno sequel. Remember back in the old days when porn actually tried to have plots?
I guess I'll settle for the DVD :P
