Easy Innuendos Await Clinton's Cameo in the Hangover 2

Slick Willy joins the fun in Bangkok.

With a special guest appearance by William Jefferson Clinton as "Akira."

Remember the days when most Clinton jokes were just about him stopping at Micky D’s and playing the sax (not necessarily in that order?) After a decade out of office, I’d say most of the snark about stained dresses, inhalation and definitions of the word “is” has cooled down. With the heat off, he can now loosen the tie and pop his collar for some R-rated Vegas-themed fun…

People says that Slick Willy’s going to cameo in The Hangover 2 and, shockingly, he won’t be playing a tightly-wound tattoo artist. It’s going to be Clinton as Clinton, with the ex-prez be playing himself. He just happened to be delivering a speech on clean energy in Bangkok at the same time as shooting was going on and it sounds like Todd Phillips’ people just asked his people if he had had an hour or two free.

Which, come to think of it, sounds a lot like how Schwarzenegger’s spot in  the Expendables probably worked out.

Will Slick Willy’s cameo have as many softly-delivered, confusingly-phrased threats? Perhaps. Seeing as how all sequels these days are just supposed to set characters up for the trilogy, I suppose this might be just laying the track for his inevitable starring spot in the Hangover 3: Debauchery in DC.

I really wanted to find a video of the clip of the last movie cameo he made in the theater of my mind - - a House Party sequel parody that In Living Color ran - - but that, alas isn’t online. In lieu of that, how about you enjoy this footage of Bill ‘n Hill’s days playing on the Washington Wizards?

You know, I take back what I said about Mel being irreplaceable for the Hangover 2 cameo. This is just fucking genius.

I would have preferred that they didn't announce this, I rather be surprised when I see the movie.

Clinton has had one of the busiest, most proactive ex-Presidencies ever. He deserves to have a fun cameo in a comedy. I'm sure it will be self-deprecating as fuck.

I saw this on TMZ. What? My wife was watching. If anything, should be fun.

Great, with Liam Neeson and Bill Clinton, I think I'll have to go and see it.

When sushi becomes art as much as it is food, the art of presenting it on film becomes transformative not only to the cuisine, but the people who make it.
