In this trailer, I can't decide if Greta Gerwig is next in line to take over the awkward yet charming girl of the year award away from Lena Dunham, or if she is just annoying enough to want to punch in the knee. I'm not exactly sure how you would be able to punch someone in the knee, but I'm just close enough to wanting to try. Black and white is pretty so that is a plus.
This movie made a splash at festivals this year and is now spinning its way into theaters as a black and white slice of life comedy. Gerwig reunites with director Noah Baumbach and the two co-wrote the film.

Hmm. I want to punch Greta Gerwig now. Not advocating violence against women... just had an overwhelming urge to punch her after this trailer. And whilst black and white does look pretty, making the younger me nostaligic about watching Touch of Evil for the first time, this looks bleeding awful. The sort of film that I will never, ever watch. Although if someone put a gun to my head and made me choose between this or the Piano, this would be it.
Yeah, I think I'm more on the knee punching side here. That trailer didn't do anything but convince me that I never want to watch this movie.
