Introducing some brand new channels from FX. FXM will be a movie channel playing the Fox movies that have no other place to be played and FXX which will have more of a focus on original programming. Included in this announcement were renewals of some of your favorite shows and some shows even moving to the new FXX channel.
Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, and Legit will all be renewed for another season respectively and moved to the new FXX channel. Going along with them is the late night show Totally Biased which will now be on five nights a week. None of the moves will occur until FXX launches in September but it is crazy to think that some of their biggest comedy shows will be leaving the channel everyone watches them on.
All of these moves are supposedly to break up the demographics among each of the channels but also for each of the channels to share similar qualities. FX announced they would nearly double their original shows in hopes to gain parody with the big networks CBS, NBC, and ABC.
What do you Pups think, do FX shows have the prowess to divide like this? Would you expand your cable order if FXX or FXM didn't pop up in your current package? How dumb is the name FXX?
