If you grew up in the 90's then more than likely you remember the show Boy Meets World. You grew up besides Cory Matthews and watched him and his friends struggle through life in middle school, high school, and eventually college. The series ended in 2000 and the generation that grew up with the show would always hold it in a special place. So much so when a sequel to original series was announced by Disney fans got excited. A pilot was produced and finally today was picked up.
The new series, called Girl Meets World, was created by the same creators from Boy Meets World and will also star Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel. The show will focus on Cory and Topanga's daughter as she starts 7th grade and will include a lovable teacher to help them through their troubles and a local teenage hangout for every to go to. Will the show seem to similar to other Disney shows? Or maybe it will be an empty copy of a show running on sheer nostalgia? We'll find out in summer 2014 when the new show premiere's on the Disney channel.
