Aside from a final shot, the second "official" trailer dosen't show much of the Father of Kaiju.Instead we are shown his aftermath, lots of destruction. I had assumed that this was going to be similar to most Godzilla films in that the monster would be attacking a limited area, in this case New York. However all of the destruction gives it an international scale.
The majority of dialog in the trailer is shared by Bryan Cranston and Ken Watanabe both of whom point out the folly of man. Aaron Taylor Johnson gets some more screen time, he's pretty yoked.
O yea and than there is this.
Multiple Monsters confirmed....which could work I guess it just requires them turning Godzilla face part of the way through and that's kinda lame. He should be indifferent to are wants and needs, hopefully they play it that way.
Director Gareth Edwards looks like he may have something special here that may be in the vicinity of the original Gojira. Which you can get half off through Criterion today (2/25).
