Video eulogies are great and all, but we all knew it was only a matter of time before social networking sites became battlegrounds for the war between Hulkamania and Warrior Wildness to begin anew. Inevitable even. What was You Tube created for if not to be a showcase for wrestler's promos?
Let’s recount the build-up of this feud by starting with the latest step. Warrior uploaded this video after seemingly finding inspiration mid-workout….
Is he listening to… Nickelback on those headphones? I don’t see them as quite the great Satan as so many do, but still - - the Ultimate Warrior gets pumped up to Nickelback?
Warrior’s likely referencing the response his little warriors got after their fires got stoked by this video…
“I found [that bullet] buried, real deep, inside that huge piece of real estate I still own in your psyche.”
Damn. That’s some proper shit talk.
So what’s this sit-down interview’s Warrior’s talking about? Hogan had a long talk a couple weeks back with sports commentator Michael “The Voice” Schiavello on HDNet whereIN he claimed that Warrior panicked at their legendary Wrestlemania 6 match and wanted to end the match, just five minutes in.
He also dropped the following soundbyte like a mighty leg in a finisher…
The back-and-forth’s continued to the men’s respective Twitter accounts, although neither of them are addressing eachother directly - - no “Hey, @HulkHogan4Real !” or “Listen up, @ultimatewarrior.” Not yet, anyway. Some are thinking this might be a work to promote a match at some TNA pay-per-view, but I'd say the change is thinner than a Slim Jim. This smells of shoot, not kayfabe. These guys hate each other’s guts.
I only hope it escalates to the point of giving us something like this again…
