Well, yes, it is finally here, you know, that Total Recall remake you have been waiting for since the original was released in 1990. Oh wait, you don't actually think this movie is a good idea? That's right, I agree with you.
I must say, I actually like Colin Farrell and am mildly sad that this is what he chose to spend his time doing. If only he would keep doing movies like In Bruges, I would be much happier, but alas, here he is in yet another remake that we didn’t need.
However, you do have another choice this weekend…Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. I mean, that looks amazing, right? No again. Man, we are striking out this weekend. Isn't is supposed to be summer aka awesome movie time?
In Theaters: August 3rd
| 1. Total Recall Maybe see it for the three-breasted woman?! | |
| 2. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days The Wimpy Kid pretends he has a job at a ritzy country club and then he has some embarrassing mishaps as he is, well, a wimpy kid. | |
| 3. Celeste and Jesse Forever Andy Samberg and Rashida Jones are best friends that are married but must figure out what to do when they separate but still spend all of their time together. Andy Samberg in a romantic comedy? Interesting. Andy Samberg in a romantic comedy that actually looks good? Fascinating. | |
| 4. 360 From the director of City of God and The Constant Gardener, comes an exciting dramatic thriller that weaves together the stories of array of people. I'm exactly sure what it is about beyond "seizing the moment", but curious to find out. | |
5. Soldier's fo Fortune Plotline: "Captain Craig McKenzie (Christian Slater), a former US special forces soldier, is hired to protect a group of millionaires who want to experience firsthand the kicks and thrills of war. However, the mission goes horribly wrong, and the men get a lot more than they bargained for." Really? They wanted to "play" war?! Who came up with this! | |
| 6. The Babymakers I don't even know if I can explain the insanity of the plot of this movie, so let's just say it is a twist on a heist movie, only Paul Schneider is trying to steal his own sperm so he can have a baby with Olivia Munn. |

Kinda wondering how they did the three-breasted thing in a PG-13 movie.
