Not the greatest selection coming to streaming but some good choices to watch before they leave. Amazon doesn't exactly inform you how long you have before something leaves their service, so titles I thought would be gone are still sticking around. I guess that's a good thing in case you forget you need to catch something before it disappears.
New To Instant Streaming
1. Atlas Shrugged: Part II
Netflix: Yes this came out. Yes they made the second part. Yes you should stay away from this movie like the plague. Yes you could grab a few beers and probably laugh a lot at this film with some friends...or fall asleep due to boredom.
2. American Wedding
Netflix: Just in case you thought this franchise could still be funny American Wedding came along to ruin it for you. This movie does have a couple of laughs in it but it's far from hilarious.
Amazon Prime: After a NASA probe lands in South America strange aliens begin taking over. Soon most of the continent is quarantined to avoid further take over. A journalist and an American tourist have become trapped in the quarantine and are trying desperately to get across the American border.
Expiring Soon from Amazon Prime
1. A League of Their Own
Leaving soon from Amazon is a baseball classic. About a woman's team of players that had to replace typical professionals during WW2 features some good performances in a mix of drama and comedy.
This biographical epic will be leaving Amazon Prime soon. I just watched it for the first time the other night and really enjoyed it. The history may not be 100% accurate but it is an enjoyable snapshot of something real from our past. Even with the cliches and parodies born from this film it's still worth the watch.
