Some decent movies are now out for Netflix while nothing really seems to be expiring, thankfully. Maybe after losing over 1,000 titles at the beginning of the month allowed Netflix a buffer to avoid another big loss of content. Hopefully they'll start really refilling the tank with newer releases to make up for the loss.
New To Netflix
1. End of Watch
A police drama about two cops in LA going about their typical day, COPS style. The two friends and coworkers then run into a huge criminal force that the two beat cops may not be able to overcome. This is a recent release that I wanted to see but didn't want to pay to see in theaters, so this will be my chance.
2. Leaving Las Vegas
A Nic Cage classic where he tries to drink himself to death while befriending a hooker. I have yet to see this film and this will certainly be the time I buckle down and watch it. How can you resist a drunken Cage?
3. The Dictator
The third Cohen character film was the first to not be filmed like a reality show. Gone are the ways of tricking people into acting natural and instead comes a scripted drama. While it isn't as funny or as interesting it is still a good movie. Interesting to see where Cohen has gotten to in a short period of time. If you liked Borat than this may be a movie for you.
