Rundown:
There should just be a 'New' and 'Expiring' section everywhere Netflix is. It is by far, in my opinion, the biggest hole in all of the Netflix service. But alas, if they added that, what would I be doing?
New To The Service:
The Hitchcock classic is a must see by movie aficionados and just casual watchers. Hitchcock is one of the best at building tension especially in mysteries and "whodunits" and this one is considered one of the best he has ever done. Add it to the Screened must watch list that I assume exists on some yellow legal pad somewhere and then watch it.
As a fan of any kung fu star or movie you must always come back to Bruce Lee's classic movie that transplanted a whole new genre from Hong Kong to US shores. Lee's career came along with it and so did a handful of what would eventually be cliches in all sorts of movies. Everything from the evil island, the kung fu tournament featuring fighters from across the world, to the yellow jumpsuit.
Screened's past ensures some cross over between an interest in video games and movies, and here is the pay off! A fascinating view into the horribly tough job it is to make an indie game and a look at the kind of person it takes to champion a game from conception to release. It is well made is every aspect and gives you the behind the scenes look that you rarely get in any industry.
It went away not too long ago and here it is again. An 80s classic marrying a future superstar in Tom Cruise and the more established Dustin Hoffman. Both do a great job as brothers coming from completely different worlds but having to spend time together. For those looking for something more along the lines of a touching drama this is a great one for you.
Like Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale follows a young kid growing up in a New York neighborhood run in part by the mob and the boy's struggle to stay in line with his catious father but the mod boss he respects so much. It's De Niro's first time directing and he does a fine job handling this project both in front of anf behind the camera. It isn't a perfect movie like Goodfellas tries to be, but it is no copy cat either.
Expiring Soon:
Nothing! Well nothing I could spot that was worth mentioning.
If you spotted something big that did expire, or even something coming soon, add it in the comments!

Where do you find these?
Indie Game: The Movie is the best documentary I've seen! Go watch it!
@Watcherg44: I have a few websites that tell me what's coming up and what is expiring. This week I had to do some extra digging.
I feel a bit weird with Indie game the movie. I mean it's a well shot documentary but the Subjects are all just fucking immensely dis likable. Also, their was the whole weird shennanigans with them outright lying about Phil Fish's partner. Also, Fish is a douche.
I'm still a bit pissed that Netflix removed most of the Friday the 13th series at the beginning of the month. I imagine having lots of popular horror films available on Instant probably means their bandwidth usage goes up, but if they want to become streaming only down the line, this was a bad move on their part IMO.
@rem25: I don't think that's why they did that. It just means those deals expired at the end of September. Some of these films just expired off the service and yet they're back. Should they have fought to keep them on? Yes. But they might not have had the chance.
Really interested in finally watching Indie Game: The Movie. It's also a pleasant surprise when we get a new film at the same time as the US on Netflix
Movies recently added (I think) that may be worth mentioning (I think, as almost all are unseen by me):
Equilibrium - Sci-fi flick that Netflix keeps insisting, based on what I like, that I will like.
The Innkeepers - Fairly well received horror film from a director I like (V/H/S is very much on my radar, for example.)
Cat Run - Because a friend of mine worked on it
Natural Born Killers - I've seen this one forever ago, but as a video editor I want to see again, as the post on this reportedly took 11 months (which I know I read as the longest edit of a movie EVER in a Guinness World Records book once, although I somehow doubt that's true).
And, although added a few weeks ago, probably worth mentioning again that The Grey is up there, too.
Act of Valor was recently added.
No love for James Gunn's Slither? It is October and a Fresh Rating especially an 86% on Rotten Tomatoes for a horror movie is pretty rare. Also the way you guys want to cast Nathan Fillion for every role in your fantasy casting threads I would of assumed you guys would of been on it right away since he plays the lead. The movie itself is a homage to films like Night of the Creeps, The Blob, and pretty much every Sci-Fi/Horror movie that begins with an alien parasite infested meteorite landing in Small Town,USA and the havoc it causes.
@numbbaby: Equilibrium has some fun notions about it, especially in a post-Matrix (only the first movie at the time of Equilibrium’s release, mind you) world. The main example being Gun-Kata.
@Ghost_of_GhostDad: Greatly enjoyed Slither!!
Netflix really has improved there streaming in the last four months I notice alot more new releases it's really good to see cause for awhile it was down right awful still there will always be shit movies. But I'm seeing better releases lately and its good redbox will start streaming soon competition is good the consumer wins.
I swear I watched Enter the Dragon on Netflix like 4 months ago. Good look on pointing out Indie Game and Bronx Tale. I think I'm actually on the verge of having seen all of the ones on Netflix. Glad to know there is one more I haven't seen... although I think I might have.
@sickVisionz:Enter the Dragon and Rain Man were both on Instant in the past and for some reason they only just now brought them back. No clue why.
