1. The Godfather
Alright, you've obviously seen this, but if you haven't, you've got until November 1st to check it out on streaming.
2. The Godfather: Part II
Did you know that Godfather II is the only sequel to ever win a Best Picture Oscar (aside from perhaps Return Of The King)? Well, if you didn't, then you can see what all the fuss is about until Nov. 1st.
3. Dances with Wolves
This movie has taken a lot of shit in the 20 years since it came out; critics retroactively think it too sentimental, for the most part. You have until Nov. 1st to find out for yourself; personally I really dig it.
4. Metropolis
Expiring on October 30th, this is a seminal film, not just in the science-fiction genre, but in all of cinema. If you haven't watched it, put this at the top of your list.
5. Memento
I think everyone remembers the feeling that they got the first time they saw Memento. Christopher Nolan's first major film may have been dulled slightly due to the fact that everyone knows its structure, but it's still a hell of a ride. Check it out before November 3rd.
6. A Fish Called Wanda
One of the funniest adult comedies I've ever seen, and that's high praise coming from me. Keep in mind that I haven't seen it in a while, and I hear it has aged a bit, but you can find out for yourself before November 1st.
7. WarGames
A recent TANG inductee, WarGames serves to remind us all of how hot Ally Sheedy was in the 80s. Catch it before Nov. 2!
1. Cobra
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS NOVEMBER 1ST CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH
2. Billy Elliot
I've always meant to see this. Now I guess I'll have my chance, on Nov. 1st.
3. My Cousin Vinny
Do you remember when Joe Pesci was a likable, affable figure? Remember again on Nov. 1st!
4. Batman
This was definitely the best Batman film...until 2005, that is. Relive the magic on November 1st.
5. Annie Hall
If you want to see the movie that beat Star Wars for Best Picture in 1977, check it out on November 1st.
6. Natural Born Killers
That's one hell of an iconic poster there. Check Netflix on November 1st to see the film that inspired it.
7. The River Wild
Curtis Hanson! Meryl Streep! Kevin Bacon! David Straithairn! Not very good movie! 1st November!
8. Apocalypse Now
The Redux version of Coppola's masterpiece (well, one of them) hits on November 1.
9. Dogtooth
November 2nd sees this weird Greek import come to Netflix. Glad I didn't buy the DVD.
