The poster for Gangster Squad has been released. The film was delayed for several months, until January 11th, after the massacre in the Colorado theater during The Dark Knight Rises midnight showing. The film originally contained a scene in which a movie theater screen was shot up by gangsters, but Warner Bros. elected to take some time to remove the scene and release the film at a later date.
The trailer has already been released, but the poster really directs the focus of the film. It's a triangular battle between Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, and Sean Penn, who belong to varying parts of law enforcement and the mob in 1940s Los Angeles. The poster also features Emma Stone in a red dress, showing some hot leg. I think one or two people, might appreciate that.
I'm incredibly stoked for this movie, and although I'm sad it was delayed, I'm happy it means there will be something to look forward to after the rush of Academy Award contenders are released in November and December!

I miss you Rorie.
This is an insanely cool poster.
Is it just me or is there something wrong with Sean Penn's face?
A nice old school quality to the poster. Man Sean Penn just looks ugly in this movie, seriuosly that nose. I love Emma Stone as much as the next guy, that picture though something just isn't quiet right about it.
Holy shit, that's awesome!
@MrMazz: Yeah, it's kind of odd how she's just sort of there on the side of the poster.
Wish she was integrated a little better.
Angelina Jolie started a trend.
I'm really looking forward to this (though that title still sounds pretty generic). I agree with the comments about the positioning of Emma Stone - that looks a little odd. Maybe if she were in the centre where the fire is?
That poster is so terribly shooped. Saddening.
Josh Brolin reprises his role as Young Agent K.
Also, I still like to see the theater scene, though it'll probably never see the light of day. Kinda like the Twin Towers in the First Spiderman.
