Poster: Iron Man 3

Apparently Tony Stark and his suit(s) of armor speak for themselves as the poster for Iron Man 3 aka 3 is revealed

The Iron Man 3 poster that has been revealed, and we see Tony Stark standing in the middle of his six suits and the evolution of Tony Stark. He looks pretty prepared to take down some new bad guys.

The poster is very slick and smooth, which makes sense for the Iron Man franchise, but let's just hope the movie takes on more of the vibe from the first Iron Man film and not the sequel, because, well, that would mean it will be awesome. The other good news? We will be getting a full trailer either today or tomorrow, and will be able to judge for ourselves. Get excited.

My guess is that there'll be an Iron Man 4 in Phase III because having no Iron Man movie after The Avengers 2 seems like too much of a gap between the two sequels of The Avengers.

The one on the left is the first prototype he built in the cave in the first movie. The one you claim to like so much.

@glassdevaney: Right. I saw it three times when it came out, but haven't watched since then, so I didn't immediately recognize. Thanks for pointing that out.

The middle of 6 new armors? From left to right they are:

The one from the cave in Iron Man 1

The silver prototype in Iron Man 1

The final product in Iron Man 1

The Suitcase armor in Iron Man 2

The upgraded armor in Iron Man 2 and Avengers

The new armor for Iron Man 3

Those aren't 6 new armors, they're just the armors that Tony has using in the past 3 movies; if I hadn't done the Iron Man wiki, I wouldn't have known either. Believe it or not, Tony is up to his 7th armor if you don't include the one he will use in Iron Man 3. Although you were right on one point.

Tony and his crew have been making a ton of armors. In fact, his Iron Man 3 armor will be the Mark XLVII. The armor will allow Tony to control multiple armors at once. Perhaps he will be able to control 40 of them as the name might imply. Rumor: He will also be able to summon his armor with his mind and it will appear out of thin air.

I really like the poster design. I tells you what you need to know without spelling it out.

6 new armors? What? It is obviously supposed to show, from left to right, all the Iron Man suits he's made over the years, obviously getting better as they go.

Yikes.

@xmrgonex : Yes, I obviously realize that now and made a mistake..... Updating my comments now.

That's right except for the last suit, which is the one he used in the latter half of The Avengers.

There's a new suit is this teaser for the trailer (trailer-trailers? what is the world coming to?)
