Pupcast - Let's Get Political and Junk

Editor staceywi makes her second guest appearance on the community run Pupcast, as we talk about political television series and movies

I think there might have been some confusion last time, so allow me to explain. In the absence of an official Screened Podcast, many of our users have been keeping the tradition alive with a Community run podcast (called a Pupcast). While, I am still working on the possibility of bringing an official podcast back, in the meantime, I was a guest on a regular basis. I won't be on every episode, but if I am, will post it on the front page. Please also listen to the Pupcast every week, which you will find posted by in the forums. Thank you to: for participating!

Today is election day, and I hope that no matter which side you are on, you will go out an exercise your right to vote. Rock the vote! (No, seriously, do it).

As for the podcast, we chose to talk about our favorite (and least favorite) political television series and films. Mine? The West Wing. It wins hands down for me, tune in around 1:39:10 to find out why. If you would like to check the President Bartlett speech we discuss, you can find it here.

If you cannot listen to the whole thing, here is a run down of the timecode for the episode:

TIMECODE

0:56 - Intro

9:05 - Intro to main show - Introducing Guest and talking about the storm

15:05 - What have we seen recently (including Weeds, Oldboy, Sherlock, Gravity Falls, Downton Abbey and much more)

39:00 - News (Community, Star Wars, and more)

1:16:32 - Our favorite/least favorite political TV shows and movies (The Newsroom, The West Wing, 24, The Ides of March, In the Loop)

2:10:00 - Part 2 of our talk about our favorite political movies (Team America, Mr Smith Goes to Washington, Dave, Michael Moore, and more)

2:41:20 - I rant endlessly about Atlas Shrugged

**Also, we also apologize for any problems in the quality - it will be fixed by next time**

If you missed the last podcast and some introduction to my background, you can find it here.
