I have so many questions to ask about this trailer:
1. This is supposed to be a horror comedy. Where is the comedy?
2. Did Jeremy Renner actually think this was a good idea?
3. Why is it red band?

Wait this was supposed to be a comedy? I was always under the impression this was like a straight up B action movie. Though I'd probably find some of those things funny.
Guess It's redband for the cursing and the bloodybit at the end, which is lame. The movie comes out this week guess releasing a redband is some last ditch attempt to build some buzz.
Yeah, this looks like it comes from the Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter school of B-Movie thought which is make your bonkers premise without poking fun at it, which actually could work.
I mean, it looks like it won't, but you never know, it COULD be decent. If they go into the whole emotional repercussions of dedicating your life to revenge on childhood trauma, and... okay yeah no it's not.
If I had to guess, I'd say that Renner signed on to this before The Avengers. Also, swearing and blood makes it red band, or were you asking, why make a red band trailer? I don't know, it looks campy but not in a horribly bad way, just a mildly bad way.
