Screened Holiday Schedule

I go on vacation, but never fear content will be here

There's been a lot of talk about the holidays this week and while we talked about what you should be watching and what I've been watching, we haven't talked about what will be happening on Screened for the next 10 days.

As much as I love all you Screened Pups (and I do) it's the holidays and I love my family just as much…maybe even a little more. Sorry. That makes me want to enjoy all the time I have with them - and the snow. I'll be in Colorado and that will be nice because we don't get much snow in Los Angeles. Lots of sunshine, though. Also, the difficulty of running a site all on your own proves to sometimes be, well, challenging on the heart and soul. For that reason I will be kind of checking out and taking quite a bit of time off for the holidays. I leave today and we will return to our regularly scheduled program on January 2nd.

However, have no fear! This does not meant that you will have nothing to read and will be left alone to only hang out with the elves. Matthew Floratis will be posting articles and we can expect some reviews for Django Unchained, Les Miserables and Guilt Trip (I know you are waiting for Guilt Trip the most) at some point next week.

Also, I have enlisted some Best Film of the Year lists. I thought it would be fun to get many different perspectives on what are the favorite films of the year for our Screened writers .. Next week we will be posting a "Favorites of 2012 list" from , , Mitch Salem and myself - so look out for that.

More than anything, I would once again like to thank those Screened Pups that have stuck around this year and here is to a bigger and better 2013 for everyone.

Much love,

Stacey

Have a good vacation Stacey, you've earned it. Also, just a reminder, the Screened Pupcast will still have new episodes (two in the next week) in the forums, so there's even more content for the Pups.

Taking a vacation is not a problem at all. There is a great chance that everyone else is going to be too busy spending time with their friends and family to hang out at screened. Although, it's totally awesome of you to do this for us. You definitely deserve that vacation. Have fun!

Have a great time with the family, I'll be doing the same. I for one will be waiting for you return and it could be my start at becoming a more predominant member around here.
