Marvel and Disney certainly have figured out how to milk every single dollar out of their wildly successful film, The Avengers and for what it's worth, they are doing a good job. The film is being re-released in theaters over the long holiday weekend and will remain there for the next week. They are using one more chance to make theater money and have also heavily begun promoting the Blu-Ray release which comes in just three weeks.
Also, "Don't forget to stay through the credits..." There is already one scene at the end of the credits, but it could be a new one. Marvel has also become notorious for giving a glimpse in to another aspect of the Marvel Universes at the end of many of their films. No matter what, they are using whatever will roll after the credits to entice fans back in to the cool air-conditioned movie theaters on the last weekend of the summer.
Any ideas what the end credit scene will be? Who is going to see it in theaters...one...more...time?

It's tempting but I think I'll wait until the Blu-Ray.
That's not spoilery at all now is it....even if everyone I know has seen it. My dad might want to see it again.
@RockinKemosabe: not me, i want it now!!!!
I still haven't seen it so this is tempting but I think I'll just wait for the Blu-Ray.

Same here except I'll wait till it hits the Dollar Theater, I hope it is as good as every says!
I didn't even like it that much the first time.
I was a bit surprised to see it is a few week until it comes out on Blu-Ray in the US. It came out here in Australia this week. Normally we have to wait longer if anything.
They're now expanding the movie after credits-ending?
My guess? Nothing like that. Perhaps a teaser for Iron Man 3 is more like it.
I may go see this over the weekend but I may wait until the week when there won't be as many people seeing it.
The new scene is Thor talking about how he prefers Gyros to Shwarma.
Seen it in 2d and in 3d, I think thats enough.
I think this movie is overrated.
Saw it again and there is NOTHING added at the end other than what was there before.
where is this at? Small town Iowa, doesn't have this anywhere
