It wasn't long ago that Spotify popped up as one of the better music streaming options on the internet but for most people it wasn't a revelation as just another streaming service. Soon though the combination of stream anywhere, share anything, listen to everything service became the defacto music streamer for most. Spotify isn't content being just a music service anymore however, they are throwing their hat into an already crowded market, now they want to stream videos as well.
Jumping into this market this "late" is allowing Spotify to plan streaming of original content in addition to the normal deluge of existing shows and though they didn't announce it probably movies as well. The question remains if Spotify can withstand a market already filled with much bigger companies.
Would you guys enjoy a Spotify video service? Can they compete against behemoths like Amazon and Netflix?
