Alright, I promise not to turn this in to teaser poster-land, but I saw this and couldn't help but get excited. There was something about the stark-ness and return to the classic Bond that made me want to grab a martini and hop on a jet plane to Monte Carlo. I love Daniel Craig and he has brought an edginess to the character that hasn't existed in a while (remember, I grew up on Pierce Brosnan Bond, and at the time didn't know any better). However, Quantum of Solace was not that great and left me pretty bored by the end, so here's hoping Sam Mendes can help do it right this time. The teaser also means we will be getting a trailer released online soon, but until then I am going to sit here and stare at this poster before a trailer crushes my fantasy of greatness.

He's so badass.
"made me want to grab a martini"
Bond doesn't drink martinis anymore. He drinks Heineken.

Wish I were joking.
I like it.

HEINEKEN? FUCK ME WITH A LUNCHBOX WHY DON'T THEY JUST MAKE HIM DRINK NATTY LIGHT. I QUIT.
I like it. Its simple but it makes Bond seem so bad-ass. I feel like Quantum was half good. It did some things right but it also did a lot of things wrong.
Hope the movie turns out to be great. Quantum of Solace was a bit of a mess, but I still enjoyed it. Casino Royale dragged in some spots.

would love to know how much they paid to get that in.
Who's doing the theme music for this film!?
I'm not quiet sure if I like it as much as others. It just seems to generic for a Bond poster. You could basically shop in Brosden or any other Bond and change the title to one of their movies. They should release a more iconic looking one eventually.

I have NO words. None.
@MrMazz: But this time he's going INTO the gun! Surely this means he'll be fighting bullet bills!
I thought the series was taking the best possible turn when Casino Royale came around. It was smart, sexy, and action packed. Plus it was around the time when I was really getting into Texas Hold'em, which made it even better. I was so hyped up for Quantum of Solace to be a continuation of that same structure, but it pulled the series back down into the shitsville of Pierce Brosnan territory (After Goldeneye). Bad one liners, cheesy action, and an extremely boring villain. We went from awesomely evil, I cry blood with reason to rich nerdy nerd who has trouble swinging as axe and a General who wasn't even a huge part of the film until the last 20 minutes.
It was also missing any kind of gut wrenching ball crushing scene. I will certainly see this with hope thats its Casino Royale caliber.
Does he look shorter to anyone else in that poster? Either his head is larger or he's shorter or something's up. Besides that, classic composition so no complaints from me.
Casino Royale was better than Quantum of Solace. However Quantum had the air, land, and sea action sensibilities of the earlier movies; wilder action start to finish. Not always a good thing – I do hope they return to grounded Bond – but it's wasn't a bad popcorn movie.

This will only be acceptable if he takes a swig, throws it to the ground, grabs the bartender by his neck, and then demands a martini...shaken, not stirred.
Quantum was more like the Bond Identity which i didn't much care for, i'm hoping this is a return to glory for Craig as he deserved better for his Bond.
And what's wrong with Brosnan? Goldeneye alone is the best bond movie. Sure a couple of his other films aren't very good but he was still a badass Bond. Next to Craig he is the best Bond.
I suppose it depends on which Bond you grew up with, hell i even liked Timothy Dalton as Bond, he was real cool!
Makes me wish it was going to be a film noir.
That is a great poster, classic all the way around. Hoping the movie will be decent enough.
