The Poo Shall Fly Again in Jackass 3.5

Unused and new footage getting packaged into online sequel.

More of this, but presumably on the other side of the road ('cause it's in Europe.)

I’m not a hater. Power to Jackass and all its fans… but I have never liked the show. Not in the least.

I’ve got plenty of friends who’ve taped themselves doing stupid crap, and it was only ever funny to watch because I knew the guys. Obviously, I’m not chums with Wee Man, so the appeal’s lost on me. I maybe even have a special grudge because, when I had a public access show in high school, I had to put up with so many morons insisting I ought to rip-off Jackass instead and start "jumping out of trees and stuff."

Anyway...

Lots and lots of people disagree--about $160 million worth for the last movie--so it’s not surprising that more Jackass is rolling along like a shopping cart down a half-pipe. The Onion’s AV Club says that some new European material as well some unused footage from Jackass 3-D is coming out in Jackass 3.5. Originally there was talk about this finding its way into theaters, but apparently Paramount has since thought better of that notion. Served online in chunks every week starting in March, it'll eventually be collected into a DVD and an on-demand digital feature. Set your hopes on the promise of more hilarious poop stunts and Johnny Knoxville getting his head stapled (maybe I should've put a spoiler warning on that?

I'd watch a new CKY, but not ever Jackass again.

Wow a lot of hate for Jackass here. Maybe it's just because I grew up watching these guys, now into my 20's it kind of feels like I do know them, or their personalities at least. Sure its easy to criticize the stunts but just watching those guys come together, to me, is brilliant comedy.

Anyway, I'm very excited for 3.5

It's cool to hate.   Jackass 3D was a blast.

Dig Deeper into Jackass 3-D

The Jackass crew return to the screen one last time for another round of stunts, pranks, and vulgarity. All filmed with futuristic 3D technology to make those dick shots really pop.

When sushi becomes art as much as it is food, the art of presenting it on film becomes transformative not only to the cuisine, but the people who make it.
