How is it that Robert Redford can still be so very dreamy at his age?! On the other hand, why does it look like he is wearing make-up in this poster? What is with the weird pink coloring? Is he wearing lipstick? Blush? Is Shia LeBeouf high with red eyes? This movie revolves around a former Weather Underground (Redford) activist who gets all jumpy and goes on the run after a journalist (LeBeouf) discovers his identity. Yeah, nothing about this plot makes the color on this poster make sense.
Is is just me or are all horror movie posters beginning to look alike? This has the same coloring as The Last Exorcism, Carrie and also Emperor (even though that is not a an actually part of the horror genre). Coincidence? Conspiracy?
Hey! Look! Tom Cruise is almost as tall as a building in the poster for Oblivion. The tiny man must be taking some growing pills in the future.

I see that the poster designers for Oblivion have taken a page from the video game guide to making box covers. For some reason, people seem to like pictures of angry 30 year old guys with guns (Tom Cruise looks 30 to me, even though he is 50 according to google).
If I had photoshop skillz I'd meme that picture of Shia.
Am I stupid for looking forward to Oblivion?

i keep reading all these articles that studios were going to stop having guns in movie marketing, but judging by these posters i don't think that is the case. I read HANSEL & GRETEL changed their poster, but I guess that was it.
And also lol Shia. I really want him to come around and be reborn as this serious indie actor. Nothing would make me happier. Okay, other stuff would, but that's still high on my list.
Looking at that list of great actors in The Company You Keep and one of those names just doesn't belong.
@jeffallton:
No, I don't think you're stupid. I'm also really looking forward to Oblivion because I'm a fan of Tom Cruise. Also, how can you not get excited that Morgan Freeman is also in it?
@roger778: Haha yeah even Morgan Freeman's just for the money roles are good. I also can't not like Tom Cruise for some reason. Broner maybe?
