That was a pretty good year for movies but The Matrix is my probably favorite film of 1999.
Hell yeah it was. But Rushmore was 98.
Wow- ok- now I feel old . . .
Got it in one.
My favorite movie of 1999 is also my favorite movie: The Matrix.
With special mention to Three Kings, Magnolia, Bringing Out the Dead, and Being John Malkovich.
I'll be prepping for Y2K with Office Space.
Absolutely amazing year for cinema, but as has already been said, The Matrix was the most inferential for me.
It was the first 15 film I saw legitimately in the cinema, having recently turned 15. It blew my mind and its still one of my all time favourite films.
Lets not forget about Wild Wild West.
The Matrix of course.
Also...
I loved The Sixth Sense when I saw it in the theater. Also, big props to Carrie 2: The Rage. Saw that in a theater with people yelling back at the movie.
If I had to choose, I'd choose Galaxy Quest as my favorite.
I did not like American Beauty, because I don't like Kevin Spacey. Damn stage actors who think they're good movie actors, get the hell away from me.
Edit: Wait a minute, I don't like half of those movies (f-ing Analyze This?).. this is a scam
The correct answer here is Deep Blue Sea.
Dogma! :D
The Matrix, by far.
Galaxy Quest is the funniest movie I've ever seen, hands down.
American Beauty hands down.
Deep Blue Sea they used sharks to cure alzheimers !!!! and it had Samuel L Jackson
Deep Blue Sea.
