Trailer: Freeloaders

The newest Broken Lizard comedy follows the lives of a group of friends who are up to crazy antices when the rock star's house they live in for free is in danger of being sold. Sounds funny? Not funny.

I've never been a huge fan of the Comedy troupe (I love the word troupe) Broken Lizard, but I'm also not sure if I'm exactly the target audience for movies such as Beerfest and Super Troopers. Freeloaders is their newest entry in the comedy drama and once again I find myself trying to decided if this is for real not funny or if I just don't get it. Please help. At least Jane Seymour in a blonde wig is mildly entertaining.

Yeah.... no.

I really like Super Troopers and think Beerfest is at least kinda funny, but all the movies that Broken Lizard has been making have been consistently...not super-great, and it's led me to come to the conclusion that Broken Lizard just isn't funny anymore which...is just kind of sad.

Edit: Also Stacey, you're right, troupe is indeed a great word.

I find the eight different random music switches to be so unnecessary and not hilarious that I'm laughing at how dumb that, and this looks.

Not a big fan of the Broken Lizard as well. Altough I found Super Troopers pretty enjoyable/memorable/quotable!

Are any of the supertrooper guys in this? it reminds me of how American pie went after 3 and before reunion.
