The Madea film series simply perpetuates my depression for our society as a whole. Who are we? Is this really our legacy as a generation? Joblessness and the production of really horrendously awful films that millions of people will pay money to sit in a theater to see in order to escape from the reality that they had to charge their ten dollar movie ticket and don't even know how they'll pay their bill at the end of the month? Sorry. Rant. But COM'ON!
Ok, Ok. That was my initial response. I watched it again, giving it a bit of a chance... I'd be embarrassed to do it in front of anyone, but I'd probably laugh and might (just might) even enjoy myself. Tyler Perry's good at what he does, plus how can you not like Eugene Levy and his whole "I'm on another planet schtick."

I hope that plane goes down like United Flight 93

"This just in! Tyler Perry's, Madea: Die Harder, has just been announced"
....but seriously....who's watching these, and why does he make so much money from them? I bet Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler are pissed
@DonChipotle: You respect people's views who like these movies but not people's views who don't? That makes no sense. You can't have one without the other. Not everybody is in the middle road like you.
There's a difference between people who like the movies, people who don't like the movies, and people that don't like the movies and then go on to say how awful the movies are based solely on a trailer or past experience. I am fine with people liking the movie. I am fine with people disliking the movies (as I am one of those people). I am not fine with the third batch of people.
Madea just jumped the shark.
Good god, Perry.

/sigh
Will make a lot of money. I expect an opening weekend of over 20 million.
I am pretty astonished that Tyler Perry has made another Madea movie. I normally would not watch another one after I saw Madea goes to Jail, but the one thing that makes interested in seeing it, is Eugene Levy joining the cast. That guy is hilarious.
needs more fucking around to get my interest
