Trailer: Smashed

Mary Elizabeth Winsted and Aaron Paul get married and bond over getting smashed in the indie comedy that will be good simply for the fact they are both in it

For all of you Mary Elizabeth Winstead fans out there, I will make no comments and just let you enjoy!

Kind of a poor trailer. Doesn't really show anything.

OK, as excited as I am for this movie (I mean, anything involving "The Love Of My Life" Mary Elizabeth Winstead and the incredible acting talents of Aaron "Yo, Bitch!" Paul has my ticket automatically), this trailer really didn't do it for me. Whilst I appreciate a film trailer that doesn't reveal everything that happens in the exact order it happens and who it happens to as much as the next guy, this one's just too obtuse.

Plus, it makes it look like a generic Indie comedy, instead of the dark comedy-drama I've heard people who've seen it say it is. Unless this is Super, I don't think that that tactic is going to work for this film. Seriously, I was expecting a record needle scratch when Mary told Aaron that she smoked crack.

I'm still completely in, because I know that trailers can do an awful job at showcasing a movie and I've been excited for this film all year (and probably next year knowing how UK release dates work), but this trailer wasn't particularly good.

Also, knows about most of our obsessions with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, guys! ...you're not planning an intervention, are you, stace?

EDIT: @phoenix87x: Get in line, good sir!

@jackanderson: I just knew I would find a comment by you in this article.

@jackanderson: I agree. I was expecting this movie to be more of a dark drama and not this mix between dark comedy and lightheartedness.

I'm in! The trailer was kind meh, but Aaron Paul and Mary Elizabeth Winsted are great. I just hope Aaron Paul can yell out "Yo bitch!" once in the film.
