Trailer: The Croods

The next Dreamworks Animation film that looks like it will capture the younger crowd, but can they capture the parents and older audiences too?

I wanted to be all skeptical about this, and thought it looked it was going to be Brave for the caveman era. But then....it got all pretty and beautiful and kind of won my heart a little. That had nothing to do with the fact that Emma Stone and Nicolas Cage voice the main characters...I'll leave that for you guys to get excited about.

More red hair? I was also skeptical and I'm still not sold. However, its the same creative team that was behind How to Train Your Dragon, which was another film I wasn't sold on, even after watching the trailer. But it won me over after I watched it.

That could be ok I guess. Maybe they will tell a better parent child relationship story than Brave. It also took me until How to Train Your Dragon to his DVD to realize how awesome that movie is so maybe my Pixar love is showing a bit to much.

Nic Cage might bring a certain novelty to it.

Brave was a great movie.

I'm sure this will be great as well (if not greater).
