It seems that Paul Feig has a new muse and her name is Melissa McCarthy. While she has been on the CBS show Mike and Molly for awhile, it was her comedic turn in Bridesmaids that solidified her star status. In this film, she teams up with Sandra Bullock for a police buddy comedy. I'm not sure how to categorize McCarthy's character other than to say "chick is cah-razy". Bullock, plays a straight-laced FBI agent who I think we can all assume is eventually "loosened up" by her buddy.
There doesn't look to be anything too profound, but there are several laugh-out-loud moments in the trailer and that is more than I can say for most comedies these days.

Is this a spiritual successor to Miss Congeniality?
I really enjoyed the first Miss Congeniality, probably other than Speed my "favorite" Bullock movie. I'm just not really feeling her has yet again the ultra straight uptight FBI agent. Melissa McCarthy is funny as heck though so eh if Grandma wants to see it guess I'll see it.
Looks like a female take on Hot Fuzz to me with none of the charm.
57minutes in. Guy says, "Dammit Bullock. You're supposed to be the straight shooter. I put my faith in you and this is how you repay me? GIMME YOUR BADGE AND GUN."
So Sandra Bullock plays an actress that can't ad-lib for shit and Melissa McCarthy shows that she can't ad lib for shit but they let her do it nonstop anyways?
No thanks.
Sandar Bullock?
Where did you people learn to proofread?
Is this the 2nd time Sandra Bullock has played a unorthodox cop? I remember when she played in Demolition Man as a cop in a peace loving future. She seems to act the same way she did back then in this movie as well.
Really didnt find the trailer funny at all
