Trailer: The Last Stand

Arnold Schwarzenegger wants you to know that he is the Sheriff

We got the reveal of the poster earlier this week and now the trailer for The Last Stand has hit the web. There is still something so funny to me about a United States Sheriff with a thick Austrain accent, but hey, it's Arnold, I can forgive it.

However, my favorite part of this trailer might just be the maniacal and insane Johnny Knoxville. I mean, he really looks like he's having a lot of fun with those huge weapons.

I'm not sure about the movie as a whole, but I feel like you kind of want to see Arnold kick some ass or you don't. I'm know sure if the "quality" of the film really even matters?

No. Just no.

HT101on Aug. 16, 2012 at 1:42 p.m.

I will probably see this.

I want to see Arnold kick ass but that trailer didn't really sell me on it I feel like Johnny Knoxville will be a very annoying character and that the movie will try to ham fist some big message into it and get a little preachy. Hoping I'm wrong though!

Looks like them old Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, but with like CGI and younger women.

You are right either you wana see a grizzly Schwarzenegger kick some ass or you don't. I'd see it on a lark, out of curitosity, it could be a decent action movie.

Using what appeared to be a WW1 or 2 era machine gun though cmon that just breaks my immersion.

Whatever this dumb shit is, regardless, its better then Arnold being a politician.

jakob187on Aug. 16, 2012 at 6:56 p.m.

1. Fuck yes.

2. Peter Stormare is in it? EVEN BETTER!

3. As long as Johnny Knoxville's character is an exaggerated form of his character in Walking Tall, he's fine by me.

4. FUCK. YES.

I love a good mindless action film, and throwing Arnold into the mix makes it even better. Moreover, it's Ji-Woon Kim! That guy does no wrong by me, and if it's half as audacious and over-the-top with action as The Good, The Bad, and The Weird could get while also housing the masterful directing he did on I Saw The Devil, then I can't be more excited about this!

It looks pretty good. I like the crazy dutch angles they're using.

Vincemasteron Aug. 16, 2012 at 9:10 p.m.

Anyone who knows Ji-Woon Kim knows to be excited for this

Arnie looks better in this than he does in The Expendables 1 and 2 just for the sheer fact he doesn't look as old, even though he is ... except for the bit when he's firing the shotgun at the end.

Looks like it'd be a good heap of fun to watch, really looking forward to this one.

DjCmePon Aug. 17, 2012 at 4:37 p.m.

This doesn't look or sound very good but I'll watch it.

roger778on Aug. 18, 2012 at 3:13 p.m.

@Zaccheus:

Yes. Just freaking yes!

Seriously, though, this doesn't look like one of Arnold's greatest movies, but it's so awesome that he's doing movies again, and I hope this one will be good.
