After years of turmoil and speculation about the Tonight Show it has finally been decided, again, that Leno will leave and Jimmy Fallon, who has been hosting his own show since 2009, will take over sometime in spring of 2014. This is really no shock since the other would be host, Conan O'Brien, already got the job at one point. Maybe this will all happen again and Fallon is heading straight into the jaws of a lion or maybe NBC has pissed Leno off enough after months of budget cuts that he'll finally leave.
Fallon isn't the best choice for late night host but he has come a long since he first started in 2009. His show has turned more into a reflection of his energy and positive attitude. He often times has people he considers important or interesting rather than have a random celebrity on a press tour, this includes video game or technology guests. Will this continue on the Tonight Show? Who knows?
