Pacific Rim has yet to release a trailer, but they are starting their viral video campaign. In this Breaking News video we see the Golden Gate bridge taken down and the very first glimpse (and I mean glimpse) of the Kaiju from Pacific Rim. While this clip is found footage and gives a bit of a Cloverfield vibe, I think we can expect a much different style to be seen in the rest of the movie that is being directed by Guillermo del Toro. All I can say is, more please!

San Francisco is being attacked by giant Japanese aliens? This looks like a job for angsty teenagers in giant robots.
@Acura_Max: Agreed!
Say what you will about M. Night and the ending of Signs, but no one will ever recapture the surreal terror of when you first get a glimpse of one of the aliens on video camera. That said I am down for anything directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Del Toro doing a Kaiju film with Mechs and Power Rangers and that cast. Where can I get in line? This sounds absolutly bonkers but the totally right kind of bonkers.

I shit myself. Not literally.... ok.... literally.
If you go to their promotional site they have a map of all the Kaiju attacks and a countdown to the trailer.
