After awhile the best thing about Rocky and Bullwinkle was Peabody and Sherman traveling through time and getting into trouble. It even got to the point where, even though I still enjoyed the moose and squirrel, I was only looking forward to the Peabody and Sherman segments.
Just because a movie is "Oscar bait" doesn't mean it can't have an interesting poster. In fact one of my favorite posters up in my room is from Bobby. This Butler poster does it's best to brag about it's immense cast and still does it's best at being minimalist.
Both of the Days of Future Past posters are incredible. Great to see them combining the new actors with these old characters so willingly when their roles could have easily just gone by the wayside. Somehow they also were able to get me hyped for another X-Men movie which I didn't think was possible.
We move on to a poster that is trying WAY too hard. It's as if Marvel wants to remind you of every little thing that will be in this film. It does call back to some old school fantasy movie posters but in the days of comic book movies wouldn't you want your poster to stand out?
We finish this week off with two 47 Ronin posters that simply kick ass. Strange seeing Reeves acting like he's Japanese but if they can make it make sense on film that's all that matters.
