Step back. I’m going to say it...
Wesley Snipes is a seriously underrated actor.
I won’t comment on any of the Blade Trinity on-set conflicts, nor the man’s current legal problems, but speaking strictly as a fan, I can think of few contemporary male leads with the kind of screen presence this guy has; and I can think of even fewer actors who can be taken just as seriously in tough action movies like Demolition Man as in understated dramas like the Waterdance. Plus, Blade kicks eight kinds of ass.
While he’s expressed interest in returning for a fourth flick about the Daywalker, he’s aware that the project might go ahead without him. What he seems more interested in these days, according to Deadline, is a project he wants to produce called Code Name Zorro. The movie would be about the lines J. Edgar Hoover crossed to besmirch Martin Luther King Jr.’s reputation in the 60s and the agent who blew the whistle on the sordid operations years later. Interestingly, both MLK and Hoover seem to be in the zeitgeist, right now, because there are number of projects about both men that are already getting put together.
Regardless of which project goes forward, I just want to see Snipes back in the theaters. Hell, if Expendables 2 goes forward, maybe Sly'll get close to totally rounding out the action star dream team with him?

however I lost almost ALL respect for him during his whole "neglect to pay taxes" bullshit he went through several years ago....what did he do? pulled the "because I'm black" card....tried to use his skin color as the reason the government was going after him for not paying taxes.
that said..I'm indifferent now...if he returns he returns..if he doesn't he doesn't..don't care much either way anymore. Though I'm sure if he actually cared about my opinion he'd just say I was indifferent because he's black.
I didn't realize he was Lex's brother. Does this mean that the climax to this movie is when Superman appears and they battle each other for best speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial?
Pretty sure it's Martin Luther King, Jr. Sorry, I hate to be a spelling pedant but this one was just too funny to pass up.
Hell yes. Badass as hell
Wesley doesn't believe in paying taxes. That's why he went from making about $10 million a year to headlining DTV dogshit.
