What To Watch: August 31!

Last day of August!

Hey guys, do you want to see what's coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray today? If so, hit the link!

DVD September

1. Harry Brown

You know what? I liked this movie a lot, and I think you should check it out.

2. Marmaduke

You know what? Alex didn't like this movie at all, and you should probably stay away from it.

3. Why Did I Get Married Too

You know what? ...neither of us saw this movie, even though it made more money than either of the movies above it combined. Maybe it's awesome!

4. Carnivorous

You know what? DMX is in this gigantic lizard movie, and apparently it's amazingly bad. I have to check it out for myself.

5. Tormented

This is apparently a pretty good England-style horror movie, although reviews are, well, kind of mixed. Judge for yourself!

6. Red Riding Trilogy

Now this is something I've been meaning to check out. This Sean Bean-starring trilogy might be a bit intense for some fragile minds, but hey: it's got Sean Bean and that one guy who's apparently the new Spider-Man. I've heard a lot of talk about this being the British The Wire, so you can bet that this just hit the top of my Netflix queue.

7. FlashForward

Do you like good TV? Well, this might not be for you, then. I know FlashForward has its defenders, but for a high-concept film it never quite clicked with me. Is it good? Defend it in the comments, Screeners!

Can't wait to see Marmaduke on Blu-ray!

I feel bad for not hearing of that DMX movie until now.

The Rock is such a perfect movie for the Screening Room.

Flash Forward was actually surprisingly really good. I think it started too slow and didn't get enough momentum for ABC to keep it around.  The second half of the season was really excellent though. If FF or V had to be cancelled, it really should have been V.

Dude, The Rock. That's a good movie.

I really want to check out that Red Riding trilogy.

I want to see Harry Brown, which I will probably get tomorrow from Red Box. You have piqued my interest about Tormented and the Red Riding Trilogy. Also, Sons of Anarchy Season 2 on DVD! Woot!

FYI, The Red Riding Trilogy is on Netflix Streaming!

I love The Rock.  Will most likely watch it on Thursday after they do it since I won't be able to watch it live.  Oh, and watch White Collar tonight.  Great show.

the countdown episode of the IT crowd is awesome... jeff stelling makes everything better

I really enjoyed Harry Brown although as Rorie and others have said, the ending loses it. Still worth watching and really the only release this week that caught my interest.

Kaval best win NXT or we riot.

No, Flash Forward was decidedly boring and seemed made to make people hate it.

The IT Crowd is a Channel 4 show, not a BBC show.

HOLY SHIT THAT WAS CONFUSING! I hit play and it played one of those ad's for The Big Live Live Show: Live and I thought some one had embedded the wrong video or something. Not used to getting ad's on whiskey. Freaked me the fuck out.
ThePickleon Aug. 31, 2010 at 11:48 p.m.
Tyler Durden's Why Did I get Married Too would be awesome.

Dig Deeper into Marmaduke

Owen Wilson, George Lopez, Kiefer Sutherland and Fergie provide celebrity voices for this CGI-heavy live action film featuring the famous comic strip canine.
