So maybe you want to avoid anything involving camp this summer since it seems to be some new minor obsession with networks. I guess when you can't come up with a new idea you need to scrap whatever idea trash can you can. I just imagine a wall of suggestions for shows with ideas that could easily make low budget, low production television shows.
What To Watch
1. Summer Camp
USA 8pm: Something about a traitor on the men's team, someone becoming a counselor, and a color war. This sudden obsession with camp almost makes me wish I had gone to one as a kid. But considering they reveal this to be something to be survived or endured makes me glad I never did.
2. The Hero
TNT 8pm: I like the idea of putting someone's morals to the test rather than your typical physical competition. Most shows pit people against one another is a battle of who can screw who over. This at least puts individual needs over your own sense of what is right and wrong.
3. Burn Notice
USA 9pm: Michael has to work with Fiona to steal something for Sonya. I can never tell if this show has gone off the rails or is chugging along steadily. The descriptions are devoid of the charm from the show.
FX 10pm: Wilfred and Ryan have to get a birthday gift for Jenna. I've been trying to catch up with this show on Netflix and am surprised just how quirky and funny this show manages to be.
