A part of me really wants to start watching Splash in a semi-serious manner. Preferably with roommates, recorded so I can skip anything really bad, and with an adult beverage in hand to help mentally survive. Then again I have video games, books, movies, friends, and a whole pile of better and more important distractions I could easily dive into. Still though...Louie Anderson jumping into a pool...
What To Watch
ABC 8pm: This week a mystery celebrity diver joins in! I have to wonder if the show is getting desperate and adding new celebrities in hopes of grabbing ratings or if this was planned all along. If I had one wish it would be to go back in time and listen in on the series of meetings that resulted in this show's creation.
|2. New Girl|
Fox 9pm: It's great to see scripted, one camera, comedies succeeding especially on Fox. Fox used to be known more as a Spike TV type network, choosing crude and/or shocking rather than quality some of the time. New Girl seems like a more modern and open minded approach for that network.
NBC 10pm: I constantly get this show mixed up with Once Upon A Time. A friend of mind recommended one and I forgot which was which and ended up watching an episode both. Neither stood out to me and to this day I don't remember if I even enjoyed either one.
MTV 10pm: A show not all about a group of mid-20's adults being filmed every night as they drink excessively because that's "life. That alone should have you somewhat intrigued that MTV could pull that off. More and more Awkward gets better word of mouth as one of the better "teen" dramas on TV. Capturing the true horror of high school can be difficult but this show really seems to do it.
