What to Watch: Monday

A long and packed How I Met Your Mother episode looks to be the pick of the night.

1. How I Met Your Mother

8:00pm on CBS - Season Finale

And it's a big one….in the hour long season finale Marshall and Lily have their baby (cute!) but Marshall is in Atlantic City and drunk (not cute!) and hilarity ensues. In the second half hour we find out who Barney is actually marrying and supposedly Ted will finally meet his wife. After seven seasons here's to hoping…

2. Bones

8:00pm on FOX - Season Finale

They have got a lot to live up to after last season's finale, but in this one Brennan becomes a suspect when a past case is back court on appeal. Now that she and Booth are happy, everything better turn out okay for her!

3. House M.D.

9:00pm on FOX

Countdown to the series finale: 2 episodes. Will we ever find out Wilson's fate or are they just going to make us wait until the end?!

4. America's Got Talent

8:00pm on NBC - Season Premiere

I know, I know it's a reality talent competition and we have a million of them, but what we don’t have is a million of them with Howard Stern as a judge. I am curious as to how this changes the dynamic of the show, and if getting to watch him will be enough to make me forget how much I hate reality competition shows.

5. HBO Documentary Films - The Weight of the Nation

8:00pm on HBO - Premiere

A new HBO documentary that tackles the obesity epidemic in America. It is a four part series with parts one and two airing tonight. The first part explores the issue of consequences and the negative impacts obesity can have on people's lives. Part two looks at methods of weight loss and weight loss management. Sounds like a pretty heavy documentary, but also with the rise in this health epidemic, could be an important one. It also promises to give hope and not just look at it negatively.

TED MEETS HIS WIFE?!

I wonder how they would handle the show after that moment. Just them getting together? Kind of takes the suspense out of everything.

I feel like them advertising Ted might meet his wife thing has been done to much. Of course to a degree everyone episode could be marketed that way but its just been over done. HIMYM was like one of my shows but man after 7 seasons its been kinda hard to just keep caring about it all.

Another Monday means more Adventure Time, Regular Show, Monday Night Raw, and periodically flipping over to see the Reds game.

I if he meets her, it'll be like her foot or something the the Yellow thing, but I have been waiting for the Barney Marring thing!

I really have no idea where all this excitement for How I Met Your Mother comes from. It just seemed like a pretty bland show from the few times I've see it, yet friends have been oddly revealing how much they love this show. Beats me. Sign me up for that HBO documentary though. HBO is always reliable for a well made doc.

Everything else is a SHADOW. a SHADOW to how good the second to last episode of House M.D. was. This is what everyone has been waiting for all season, and they are ending it with a bang.

Dig Deeper into How I Met Your Mother

Starting in 2005, HIMYM tells the story of Ted, a hopeless romantic looking for his soul mate in NYC. With his best friends Lily and Marshall, his "wing man" Barney and one time girlfriend Robin with him, will Ted Mosby find love?
