| 1. Grimm 8:00pm on NBC – Season Premiere Early return for the NBC show as the second season premieres tonight. In this episode, Nick tries to come to grips with his mother's return and Monroe is determined to wake Juliette from her mysterious coma. | |
| 2. The Closer 9:00pm on TNT – Series Finale Say goodbye to The Closer tonight and especially Kyra Sedgwick as the show ends its seven season run tonight. Brenda's story will be wrapped up, as the other characters prepare for a new adventure. | |
| 3. Major Crimes 10:00pm on TNT – Series Premiere - Top Pick However, if you are a fan of The Closer, don't weep too much as the show will morph in to the new series Major Crimes. After the departure of Kyra Sedgwick, the new show carries on the stories of many of the characters, with the character played by Mary McDonnell being appointed the head of Major Crimes. It will be interesting to see how well this works and if the show can live on in this new form. I wasn't a huge fan of The Closer, but after Battlestar Galactica, I'll follow Mary McDonnell anywhere. | |
| 4. Warehouse 13 9:00pm on SyFy Pete and Claudia reunite with Hugo to track down a deadly artifact as Myka and Steve invetigate an artifact that is killing a musician in New Orleans. | |
| 5. Alphas 10:00pm on SyFy While investigating a string of crimes, the team realizes they are looking for Nina who has gone AWOL and must try to stop her before she gets hurt. |
Editor's Note: Screened publisher BermanBraun also produces the SyFy series "Alphas."

So I hear decent things about Alphas and Grimm. Are they worth checking out? I've been forced to DVR Monday Night Raw due to it going to 3 hours. Which is painful to sit through unless you can fast forward through the commercials, recaps, self-promotion, and Diva matches. So I need a new show to watch.
Hmmmm...not much of interest for me on the ol' TV so I suppose I might just start in on a different trilogy of films to revisit since I just finished up them thar Three Colours dealies. Or maybe just some horror or cheesy '70s cult stuff.
I occasionally enjoyed The Closer. There was some mighty fine southern police work. I know most good names are taken, but Major Crimes sounds so generic and uninspiring.
Also, more Alphas is good.
Guess I'll finally check out Grimm
I got way into the Olympic habit, so I'm sorta of aimless now with surfing the TV channels.
