What To Watch: Sexual Predators Stalk The Airwaves

Watch out for those sexual predators. They'll home invade you, then steal your home.

Man, Wednesdays are getting extra creepy lately! I blame SVU, myself, which seems to be sending the forces of sexual assault into the shows around it on the dial. At least, I assume that's what it's doing; you're not going to catch me actually watching it, or CSI or Criminal Minds or anything. I would assume that I'm 100% right about everything I say about these shows, though.

If you're willing to delve deep into the cable channels, then National Geographic premieres a new show called American Weed tonight at 10, which you can probably guess what it's about.

Modern Family

ABC 9 PM: "Mitchell ruins one of Jay's proudest moments; Phil overhears something about one of his daughters; Gloria accidentally discovers Claire's secret." Way to be vague there, Mr. Episode Describer Person. Preceded by The Middle at 8, Suburgatory at 8:30, and followed by Happy Endings at 9:30.

Whitney

NBC 8 PM: "Whitney gets more than she bargained for when she uses a bust-enhancing bra to tempt Alex; Roxanne asks Mark for help after she breaks up with Lance; Lily and Neal discuss a prenuptial agreement." This is really the worst show, isn't it? Just copy-pasting these episode descriptions sometimes hurts me in a physical way. Followed by Are You There, Chelsea? at 8:30.

Top Chef

BRAVO 10 PM: "The final 3 must create a cohesive dish with the concept of fire and ice." Finally, a fantasy novel I can eat.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

NBC 10 PM: "Benson and Executive ADA Haden must cut their romantic weekend short to investigate the disappearance of an underage prostitute, who seems to be one in a series of escorts who went missing after advertising on a newspaper's website." I'm guessing...rapists?

Criminal Minds

CBS 9 PM: "The team uncovers a sinister motive for a string of brutal home invasions." I'm guessing...rapists?

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

CBS 10 PM: "The CSIs try to determine how an entire house was stolen off its foundation." I'm guessing...rapists?

Royal Pains

USA 10 PM: SEASON FINALE: USA's flagship rich doctor show sees its third season come to a close as Hank wanders around fixing people's problems.

" I'm guessing...rapists?"

lol. That should be Screened.com's official funny thing to say when you got nothing else. A new weird trailer for a foreign movie pops up? There's your caption! ;)

Eh...looks kinda dreadful tonight. I'll stick to DVR.

I finally got around to watching the premiere of Key and Peele last night, and the show has some definite potential. The guys have great chemistry together, and I loved the Obama anger interpreter.

Do people actually watch Law & Order: SVU these days? I used to be a fan but the show has really overextended its welcome.

American Weed seems particularly interesting but other than that, nothing worth watching. Vidya gaems it is!
