What to Watch: Thursday

Must See TV Thursday

1. Last Resort

8:00pm on ABC - Editor's Pick

The new Shawn Ryan series premieres tonight and follows the story of a nuclear submarine that finds itself under attack and declared an enemy of the United States.

2. Elementary

10:00pm on CBS

The newest version of the tales of Sherlock Holmes hits the air of CBS. The surprising twist is the show features Lucy Liu as Watson and makes the character that has historically been male a female. It is different from the British series Sherlock and I doubt could be as good, but everything I hear is that it is a great new show and interesting take on the story.

3. Person of Interest

9:00pm on CBS

Reese asks Carter and Fusco to help find Finch who was kidnapped by his nemesis (who is played by Joss Whedon favorite Amy Acker)

4. Scandal

10:00pm on ABC

Last season's cliffhanger will finally be answered as we find out more about Quinn's real identity. Who is she?! Is she not the sweet sweet Quinn Perkins? The horror!

5. Louie

10:00pm on FX – Editor's Pick

Louie struggles through the holidays as he celebrates New Years Eve in the Season Three finale. I'm not ready to say goodbye, dear Louie!

6. The Office

9:00pm on NBC

David Denman returns and Pam and Jim search their relationship for buried secrets after a toast at Roy's wedding. Please give us some good Pam and Jim material!

7. Parks and Recreation

9:30pm on NBC

Leslie Knope goes all Bloomberg on Pawnee and passes a soda tax to help combat obesity in Pawnee.

Last Resort is on the docket for me, definitely skipping Elementary.

Everyone WATCH Last Resort. Even if the rest of the series is crap the pilot "Captain" is pretty awesome. Also watch Parks and Rec deserves better raitings.

Parks and Rec fo' sho'. Maybe the first half of Elementary since I am a Sherlock Holmes fan.

Quite enjoying Person of Interest, though I have a bunch to watch still. Elementary could be good and its always good to see Johnny Lee Miller (and Lucy Liu who really isn't that terrible) doing something.

Dig Deeper into Parks and Recreation

Leslie Knope is the deputy director of Parks and Recreation in the sleepy town of Pawnee, Indiana whose unbridled passion to do good is often blunted by her coworkers, a troop of unenthusiastic office drones. When Leslie meets nurse Ann Perkins whose boyfriend recently fell into a pit she becomes determined to fill that hole and turn it into a park--that is if she can make it through the dizzying maze of red tape and legalese.
