What to Watch: Thursday

It's another debate night as we have Paul Ryan vs. Joe Biden screwing with our television schedule, but guess who comes to save the day….the gangs of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League!

FX shouldn't make a difference, but check your local listings to ensure these are the correct times due to the debate.

What to Watch: Thursday

1. 30 Rock

8:00pm on NBC

The more I watch, the more I cannot accept that this is the final season of 30 Rock. Why, America, why don't you watch 30 Rock? It's so funny. Also, why isn't Community on Thursday night? It just doesn't feel right! Okay, not that my ranting is done, just watch Liz Lemon be cute.

2. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

10:00pm on FX

Somehow I missed the fact that It's Always Sunny is premiering tonight, and now my day has become, well, bright and sunny! Dee and the boys return for the eighth season. Dennis and Dee decide whether or not to pull the plug on their ailing grandfather. Watch the promo at the top to get you in the mood. (Is anyone else shocked at how much Haley Joel Osment looks like Fat Mac?)

3. The League

10:30pm on FX

The members of the league prepare for the draft, and could their really be anything more important in life?

That's what I'll be doing anyways. Trying not to play Dishonored.

I call thursday nights " the night I really wish I hadn't taken a 3 hour film music appreciation class because the teacher sucks" At least I'll have a chance to read more of the Kuraswa literature I picked up.

Has anyone watched The League? I've watched an episode or two on Netflix and am not a fantasy sports (or sports in general) fan but something about it just seems interesting.

Got to be honest I think 30 Rock has run its course. It got a surprisingly decent run and is going out on its own terms instead of being cancelled. More shows need to leave the audience wanting more instead of pulling a Simpsons.

Dont forget Last Resort. If youre into that

It's Always Sunny is a GREAT show. It will be a cult classic in 10 years.

Gistaon Oct. 11, 2012 at 10:49 p.m.

The league has become one of my favorite shows ever, it is HILARIOUS. I dont care about fantasy sports, or any kind of sports for that matter.

Dig Deeper into 30 Rock

As head writer of the sketch comedy show "TGS with Tracy Jordan", Liz Lemon struggles to keep up with a crazy new star, a disorderly team of writers and a pompous boss— all while attempting to run a weekly show without resorting to loads of comfort food.
