What to Watch: Tuesday

Primetime Kimmel!

1. American Ninja Warrior

8:00pm on NBC

I started watching an episode of this and then ended up watching five. It's so addicting! Tonight is the finals for the Northwest region. 30 finishers will take on the challenging course.

2. Basketball

NBA Finals 9:00pm on ABC EST – Check Local Listings for Correct Time

After the Kings finally won the Stanley Cup, we can move on to the NBA finals. Game 1 of the series puts the Miami Heat against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.

3. Jimmy Kimmel Live!: Game Night

8:00pm on NBC EST - Check Local Listings for Correct Time

For the fifth year in a row, Kimmel does primetime during the NBA finals, along with a 30 minute special airing before the game. In tonight's episode, David Spade will be chatting with Jimmy.

4. Rizzoli & Isles

9:00pm on TNT

Jane and Maura are back to work together, but still have tension as they investigate the death of a college student. Don't fight girls…can't we all just get along?

5. Franklin & Bash

10:00pm on TNT

They boys defend a wannabe crime fighter in their first manslaughter case. Good luck, fellas.

Old people who have figured out cable dramas Rizzoli & Isles and Franklin & Bash but no mention of Workaholics?

I'm sorry, I just don't like Workaholics. I've tried really hard, but I feel like I'm watching a bunch of high guys that can't really act and I don't enjoy it. I get what you are sayin' and I'm sure there are people that love it, but in my heart I just can't recommend it.

@staceywi: Fair enough but Franklin and Bash and Rizzoli and Isles?

Ninja Warrior in general is soo easy to marathon. It is helped that G4 generally marathons the original Japanese version. Dose anyone know when WIPEOUT is going to be back?

I Agree Workaholics just gets on my nerves. Maybe I am just too old for that kind of humor anymore.

Has American Ninja Warrior been on network TV before? I can't recall. They're definitely reaching the bottom of the barrel for this summer.

MrMazzon June 12, 2012 at 7:57 p.m.

@Lurkero: well its NBC they are half way to China by now. American Ninja Warrior has been on G4 since the beggining but this time they are showing the qualifying round on G4 on Sunday than the elimination round for the Top 15 in the given area on NBC. It's solid watchable cheap content so perfect for the Summer.

@Ghost_of_GhostDad: @staceywi: I agree with the dislike for Workaholics. I don't like a show that can't be funny or clever unless their audience is high or drunk. I can watch the show and chuckle, but it's no Always Sunny.

Dig Deeper into Franklin & Bash

Franklin & Bash are two young street lawyers that have a their own quirky way of dealing with lawsuits. When they are asked to join a classic law firm, their unconventional methods tend to clash with their more rigid coworkers.
