What to Watch: Wednesday

More Futurama and Some Good Flicks

1. Royal Pains

9:00pm on USA

Eddie returns to the Hamptons to try to repair the rift between his sons. Btw, between this and Revenge why are there so many shows set in the Hamptons right now?

2. Futurama

10:00pm on Comedy Central

In the episode Decision 3012 Leela is a campaign manager for a presidential candidate who is missing a birth certificate. Hmm, sound familiar? Yeah, I didn't think so.

3. So You Think You Can Dance

8:00pm on FOX

Like it or hate it, it is pretty impressive that tonight the show hits its 200th episode. The top 20 finalists are revealed in the two-hour episode. Even if you aren't into reality competition shows, dancing can be pretty cool to watch, so it has that going for it.

4. Easy A

8:00pm on Encore

I couldn't love this movie more. Seriously. It is one of the best and smartest teen comedies to come out in recent years, and while it might not be a completely accurate depiction of high school, it is much more watchable than say, Mean Girls.

5. Forgetting Sarah Marshall

8:00pm on FX

Reflect back on the days of Aldous Snow and when we all thought Russell Brand could be a big comedy star.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall has become my go to pick me up comedy (actually its tied with Muppets), Easy A was very good but i remember Mean Girls was very much watchable when I saw it awhile ago, and actually Get Him to the Greek is up there as well with those other two

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite rom-com ever. Man I do remember thinking Russell Brand had a bright future and than he talked...a lot. I'd just put on the DVD than watch it on FX since well no cursing an all that. Easy A is also pretty good.

How many teen comedies have you seen? Is it just Easy A and Mean Girls?

Easy A is definitely a great movie, but I actually like Mean Girls more.

I am now just going wait for Royal Pains on Netflix. The show is shot..... kind of in real time show Each episode is like a Day The last season Finale, and the first episode is like 12 hours apart. I figure the first 2 seasons are one summer. so I'm thinking now a Marathon is the best way to watch this show. Also I don't know if i can handle the whole Hank/Evan thing, over 3 months.

Futurama for me. I watched both new episodes last week, and I really enjoyed both of them.

Dig Deeper into Royal Pains

Royal Pains is medical "dramedy" that takes place in the Hamptons. The main characters are two brothers, Hank and Evan Lawson (played by Mark Feuerstein and Paulo Costanzo, respectively).
