1. Jimmy Fallon's Primetime Music Special 10:00pm on NBC A full hour in primetime of musical-comedy sketches from Jimmy Fallon's late-night show. Guests include Neil Young, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen. I'm way in to the idea of some Fallon during hours that I can actually stay awake.
2. The Clio Awards 8:00pm on NBC It feels kind of strange to want to watch commercials since most of us despise them as they just take up our time and keep us from seeing more Walter White. However, the Clios are always fun, allowing us to get a glimpse into cultures around the world…especially when they can actually be appreciated and not annoying.
| 3. Futurama 10:00pm on Comedy After being fed up with his inferiority to machines, Hermes replaces his body parts with mechanics. | |
| 4. Royal Pains 9:00pm on USA Hanks visits Manhattan to have a secret meeting. Sounds scandalous, Hank! | |
| 5. Dallas 9:00pm on TNT The Ewings must make some family decisions as they fight to protect Southfork from outsiders. | |
| 6. Top Chef Masters 10:00pm on Bravo – Season Premiere Top Chef remains one of the only reality competition shows that I have watched and loved. While it has gotten a bit tiresome after so many seasons, I'm still up for seeing some great cooking challenges. Tonight, Season 4 of the spin-off Top Chef Masters premieres, as the celebrity chefs whip up some delicious eats. |

Fuck Jimmy Fallon.
What an odd premise of a special. Especially since it's a clear grab at new viewers.

When did Jimmy Fallon become so beloved? This was the guy SNL forced us to love when Will Ferrell left despite the fact that he constantly broke character and thought imitating Barry Gibbs and acoustic guitar pop parodies were the height of hilarity. I guess pretending to love video games and holding The Roots hostage (seriously the stage setup for the band makes it look like they are his prisoners) will make people forget Taxi and that horrible Fever Pitch remake.
I gave him several chances when people touted he was the next Conan O'Brien but like ThePickle so elegantly said "Fuck Jimmy Fallon".
That really is an odd thing to for a special but eh it's NBC not that surprised.
O Dallas slowly just getting better but still kinda bad but watchable. The distinct lack of Larry Hagman in the most recent episodes has been a bummer.
@Ghost_of_GhostDad: I don't have much to say about Fallon mainly because I never watched his show. Having the roots as his late night band is the best thing to ever happen to them. They are pumping out records at a crazy pace since signing up with Fallon and that is exclusively because of all the, I believe to be free or at least very cheap, studio time from NBC.

Yeah, the constant breaking isn't cute, it just ruins the bits.
I don't appreciate being told to watch Jimmy Fallon
@ThePickle: Wow. The hate for Jimmy Fallon is ridiculous. He makes for a pretty fun late night host. Give him a shot. I didn't enjoy him on SNL much either. Which is funny because I tend to not be able to stand 2 hours of Will Ferrell making the same joke in one of his movies, though in a five minute sketch he's brilliant.

Give him a chance? He's been on for 3 years. I have. I'll admit, I am impressed with some of his impressions, but he relies on the same tired bits for far too long. He's also a bad interviewer and he rarely gets worthwhile guests.
