My DVR will be working extra hard this weekend, like every weekend. I'm not sure why some of the networks don't move their shows off nights like Friday or Sunday to the middle of the week. Granted the real big hits this weekend are Game of Thrones and Mad Men so they are pretty much what those networks bank on anyways.
What To Watch
NBC Friday 9pm: As we heard earlier today, Grimm will see itself another season and thus more fairy tales come to life. I've never watched Grimm because I'm not sure if I can get into another police procedural show. However, the twist of having fairy tales as an inspiration might be a fresh enough take for me to get into it.
2. Shark Tank
ABC Friday 9pm: Do you like seeing cool products do well and poor products get laughed at? So do I and that's why I watch Shark Tank. It's some strange feeling when you see a product on TV one week and then in your grocery store the next. Almost feels like rich man kickstarter.
3. The Amazing Race
CBS Sunday 8pm: After a non elimination leg of the race there are still 6 teams racing. It's getting a bit cut throat and one mistake can see a team go from first to going home. Hopefully some of the challenges hold up since the last episode had some teams just build a train set.
4. Game of Thrones
HBO Sunday 9pm: After last week's episode I can only assume this week's will be even crazier. Each season does a good job of building itself up and unleash some of the worse fates on characters as they go along.
5. Mad Men
AMC Sunday 10pm: I still have never watched an entire episode of Mad Men. The style and acting definitely intrigues me and hearing that the writers of the show are now eyeing a 1960's NASA show makes me even more curious. Could I jump in on this season or is this an all of nothing situation?
